2nd - 4th Grades

Teachers Pat Campion and Jeanna DeCosta have been working with our 2nd-4th graders on the theme of the month.

In October their class discussed the 500th anniversary of the Reformation and how Martin Luther stood up for things he believed in and defended people against what he perceived as the failings of the church and society at the time. Each of the children decorated a cut out of themselves and wrote what they stood for and stood up against. Their answers are amazing and make us hopeful for the next generation!

In November they have been working on the theme of giving and of being thankful. They created a giving tree of all they can give to others. It encourages creativity, compassion, and a giving spirit.
